I don’t know if you have seen this video of what happens inside your body when you eat Top Ramen and Gatorade vs. homemade noodles and drinks, but you should! Now, if you know me at all, you know that I am NOT a proponent of eating many noodles – homemade or not, but homemade is still a step up from poisoning yourself with this artificial “non-food” junk.

When I think of Top Ramen and Gatorade, I think of children, because this is who consume these foods, for the most part. Many adults grow out of these foods to other foods, often equally as bad, but still other foods.

I know people eat like this because it is cheap and convenient. But so was Soylent Green and if you are too young to know that reference, Google it.

Look, we just can’t keep eating like this and think everything is going to be OK with our health. For the first time in 200 years, it is entirely possible that the current generation of American children will have SHORTER LIFE EXPENTANCIES than their parents! Almost 26 Million American adults have Type II diabetes and it is estimated that 79 Million are pre-diabetic, and many don’t even know it. That is just too sad for words. So you tell me if you are helping or harming yourself and your children if you continue to eat and feed them processed food.

I know it is hard to change how your children eat. I know that sometimes it feels like you are disappointing them when they don’t get their “Happy Meal”. I know it’s hard to hear them whine and cry and grind away at you for the food they want. I know it’s easier to just give them what they want instead of having to deal with the tantrums if they don’t get the food they want. But remember this video and how much harder it’s going to be if they get sick because they are eating artificial “non-food” junk. How will you feel then?

If you need help straightening them out, I can teach you and them the healthy way to eat but you may need to exercise a little tough, parental love and stand your ground with me or it won’t work.

I am not some hippie fanatic raised in a commune that has never eaten processed food, or who didn’t have to experience life having to work, raise and feed children on a time and money budget. I spent the first 35 years of my life eating fast food, processed food and smoking 2 packs a day. I figured out how to change those things and so can you. Sometimes it takes baby steps to change things and that’s OK. I can and will help you step by step if you ask for help – you just need to ask.

Oh, by the way, I also help adults who still eat Top Ramen and drink Gatorade or have moved on to the other foods that are just as bad.
